I've always been into sports.  As a child, we explored all types of sports until we found our niche. Baseball led me to golf and I played both through high school. Golf presented the opportunity to play at the University of Florida.

I was introduced to the fitness world through family when Crossfit had started in Miami.  From that time, I've always tried to keep fitness exciting. Explored all different types of disciplines and have taken a very technical and scientific approach to training.  Although I have now taken a more golf centric approach, we are always trying to research and push the effectiveness of fitness in all aspects.

   Although I have always loved to be active and fit in all aspects, I think that when grit was created, my focus changed towards focusing on trying to explore all types of programs so we can create the best mesh for our members to attain their goals in a safe way.

A few years ago, golf found its way back to me. After a 15 year hiatus, I came back to the sport and adapted the grit mentality to it. In that, we created Grit Golf, and have brought in the best local coaches to develop the best young golfers in the state.  It's very exciting to see how far we've come and how far we can go within the sport.
